Special message from our GM Raul Palacios: I Just want to say thank you

Thank.[thangk] verb (used with object) – to express gratitude, appreciation, or acknowledgment.What a powerful word. Sometimes overused, sometimes overseen. I was looking at the dictionary in order to get inspired by a word that could help me write this article and it was easy to select this one.

The year 2017 was a year of expansion. As Daikin grows its presence in South Florida our family gets bigger, the number of employees grows, more customers trust Daikin.

Time of Reflection

As we just finished our fiscal year (March 31st), there is a lot of reflection and analysis to review the year through numbers: Operating Income, Sales, Market share, etc… and it is easy to get lost in %’s, $’s and projections. However, our lives are surrounded by people, family, friends, work peers, customers and to them we owe the most important reflection.We at Daikin South Florida as any other company are under the pressure to meet quotas, sales and meet expectations with the stress involved in the process, but we can’t forget that people is what really matters and made it happen.

Daikin Impacting Lives

When we see how Daikin is emerging and impacting the lives of our customers, it becomes a necessity to give thanks and express to them our biggest appreciation for giving us the opportunity to be their trusted supplierof HVAC products and services. As we reflect in our organization, is rewarding to see how the employees’ personal lives are also consolidating: getting married, having kids, and with the ups and downs of being alive, the final conclusion is a BIG THANKS.

So big thanks to our employees for the great performance last year and most importantly big thanks to all those customers that believed in us, you all are the reason for us to have such a successful year and THANKS is the best word as expressed in the dictionary to “express gratitude, appreciation, or acknowledgment”.

Sense of Pride

All of us at Daikin are extremely proud to see how South Florida’s buildings, homes, and all kinds of sites are being cooled by our equipment and we are completely delighted to impact the lives of so many people, from guests at the most luxurious hotels in town to the students in the new charter school or a patient recovering in the hospital.

I can tell from all my years in the industry when somebody is in the HVAC business by the way they look at the buildings: “we” all look at the roofs, the boiler rooms, the brand in the thermostat, look for equipment that cools that structure.It does not matter if you are a Sales Engineer, a Tech or an administrative employee, we at Daikin look around and experience a sense of pride when we see hundreds of building in South Florida carrying a Daikin HVAC system; we give thanks and appreciate our accomplishments every day by telling people with pride “ this “cool” building is ours”.
