Employee Spotlight: Yasser Quintana
I was born in La Habana, Cuba. I moved to the US in 2009. I have three kids. In 2010 I began my education in Management Information Systems (MIS). I obtained my bachelor degree in 2013. I continued my education and I also obtained a Bachelor degree in Business Administration.
Work Experience
I remember my first job in the US. It was in a Printing Shop. I used to work overnight putting the flyers together, those that most of you received with the newspaper in the mornings.
By mid-2010 I started to work in a Warehouse by Medley filling containers. And thanks to my knowledge in MIS I was asked to work with the Managers helping with the Exports reports and paperwork. Because of this in 2014 I moved on to another Warehouse/Company which had Daikin LATAM as one of its customers. There I have the chance to meet Gustavo Corral. I believe that he acknowledged my passion and hard work, as some time after meeting him he offered me to work for Daikin.
I started to work for the Daikin South Florida Parts Department in September 2015… and I never looked back!I never regret the decision of coming to work for Daikin. I do appreciate the support from my colleges and managers. I really like the environment here. It is a great place to work!:
